VR2 Headset, Sony's Playstation newest baby
Now is the time wherein Sony has finally given us a glimpse of its newest addition to its family, the Playstation VR2 with more detailed shots of the Sense 2 controllers. The headset kinda looks the same as the previous model they released but they did some modifications and that includes the lens adjustments and the new vent design.
The PSVR2 complements the Sense controller with its orb-like shape symbolizes the 360-degree view. According to the Senior Vice President of PlayStation Hideaki Nishino, he wrote in a blog post that the purpose of the design is to match the PS5 and the accessories it has; the original headset already has the black-and-white color scheme but the new version has smoother curves just like the DualSense Controller and for the front cover it has the white color scheme. It also includes small Playstation logos found on both the PS5 and DualSense Controller; you can see it clearly if you are that observant.
Nishino added: “Our goal is to create a headset that will not only become an attractive part of your living room decor but will also keep you immersed in your game world, to the point where you almost forget you are using a headset or controller. That’s why we paid very close attention to the ergonomics of the headset and conducted extensive testing to ensure a comfortable feel for a variety of head sizes.”

It is an addition to the collection or to those who are fond of gaming may it be a hobby or work because the lens adjustment gives the player the benefit to adjust according to its preferences, especially in the eye area. The Headset is slimmer compared to the previous model and in terms of its weight, it is slightly less to give more comfort to the user. The vent for the airflow also improved keeping the headset cool when using it for hours. The adjustable scope and a stereo headphone jack are still being carried on.
Back in January after it was announced, it will be operated with a single USB-C cord and supports the haptic feedback, eye tracking, 4k resolution with HDR, 90 or 120 Hz frame rates, foveated rendering, and a field of view of 110 degrees. Sony said and assured the consumers that the headset will be “a heightened range of sensations unlike any other.”
Due to the number of competitors and numbers of gadgets being introduced to the market. PS4’s Vr headset had rivalries such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive which have been introducing more advanced technology. So, Sony is setting its limits to a new life. They found the opportunity to take another chance to improve its products by welcoming the newest baby they have. Proud and loud the advantage they have is that the PS5 console and games are made solely for the system such as Horizon Call of the Mountain, an upcoming VR adventure game.
The company did not provide the price, the release date for the PSVR 2 nor the potential stores who will supply the item that can make the product difficult to buy.
