Video Games that Dominate the Teenage World

Video games are which we call a game within a monitor or within a gadget. Video games has a long history but the year 1990’s was the time that video games were widely known to the world. When the first PlayStation came out. Although video games were evolving greatly, making realistic graphics that the players would love. However, in order to enjoy those realistic graphics, your pc (personal computer) must have a compatible specs so that your computer will withstand the heavy graphics of the game.
The top competitive games so far in the world are LoL, Valorant, Apex Legends, Counter Strike Global Offensive and, PUBG. As these games have made a big impact on teenagers because of the Co-op in these games that made players have fun with each other. Competitive games can be a sport and teens can go professional in the games that they love playing. Having games as a sport made teenagers have vast options for what they want to become in the future.



League of legends is a 5 versus 5 game, that the first to destroy the base of the enemy wins. Though the explanation on how to win this game is easy, doing it is hard because the enemy players are also people. Which are very unpredictable. This is a very complex game because you must come up with a strategy in order to beat your opponents. Having to experience playing this game with friends is fun because you can communicate with them in order to win the game. This game was very famous for 10 years. I personally liked the game and I had fun playing this with my friends for like, 5 years. And till this day I still love playing this game. Every time I play the game, it brings back the memories when me and my friends were playing the game.

Valorant, a first-person shooting game that consist of 10 players. Which is generally played 5 vs 5 in a given map. The first team to win 13 rounds in the game technically wins the game. The only thing that made this game different from other first-person shooting games is that the characters in Valorant have individual skills which they could use to win in games. There are 2 roles in the game. Attacking and defending, players could strategize during pre-game on how to engage the opponent based on their characters in order to win. Valorant is widely known today due to its uniqueness to the players. This game made a big success because during pandemic teenagers don’t have anything to do. And so, they tried to play this game and the community liked it. People have been enjoying this since its release, so it made an impact on teenagers.
