
- With their first-ever LAN debut, Team Secret dazzles the world by demonstrating their skills.
The all-Filipino squad stunned the world in the Valorous Champions 2021 with a 5th-6th place finish. At the group stage, they were a complete show stealer, awe-inspiring not just their opponents but the whole Valorant community as well.
In the beginning, things didn’t go well for Team Secret, but they quickly found their feet.

- Gambit and Team Acend were considered the most challenging opponents for the team to face at the Valorant Masters Berlin tournament. Dispenser claims that the two teams, especially in Breeze, have a similar style of play. As a team, they outrun their rivals and leave them behind in their wake.
Throughout the competition, which comprised games against some of the world’s finest teams, we sought to learn about the team’s emotions.
Jessievash: As a result of beating Gambit and Crazy Racoon, the teams feel more at ease competing in LAN tournaments. Everything went so well for us because the team was so at ease playing against the Vikings.
Dubstep: I had a great time playing on this level. Getting to compete on the same stage again in the future is a dream come true. I’m going to do all I can to go back to that level. First, I was intimidated of TenZ, cNed and yes, but as the days progressed, I realized that we were all VCT Champions and had nothing to fear.

- Borkum describes how they came up with their eye-catching walk-in entryway.Prior to each match, VCT has traditionally incorporated walk-in entrances as a kind of entertainment for the fans. There will be a wide variety of creative ways for each group to get the celebration started. However, the Filipino patriotism of Team Secret was evident as they took it to the next level.
In the Philippines, they were awestruck by their own antics, as well as those of the whole crowd.

To his credit, Gibo feels they gave other Southeast Asian and Philippine teams an important lift by being eliminated so early. Yamyam, like Gibo, believes that the team’s efforts have shown what SEA has to offer in the scene.
“I often urge anybody who want to grow in the Philippines or start in Southeast Asia, ‘It’ll never be simple, but give it your all.'”
Despite the conclusion of Team Secret’s trip to the Valorant Champions 2021, their passion remains. Expect some good ol’ Filipino Valorant as the competition continues.
