T1 ended the spring split with a perfect 18-0, proceed to playoffs Round 2
On March 20, the T1 roster consists of young players led by the veteran midlaner and 3time Worlds Champion Lee ‘Faker‘ Sang-hyeok finishes the regular season with a dominating run, going 18-0. They are also the first team in the LCK to go undefeated in a regular season, etching their name to the League of Legends esports record history again. Although some teams suffered from COVID-19, T1 management took care of their roster health well and helped them play all of their games without any problems. T1 18-0, 1st place finish in the LCK Spring Split, was an undeniable team effort.
Joe Marsh, CEO of T1, is undoubtedly a factor in their success. In an interview with Korizon Esports, he explained what kind of steps he took to manage T1 and give them a good environment. T1 and the 2nd best team GenG automatically past the 1st Round. Due to their securing of the first seed, T1 will be able to choose their opponent from the two teams that will survive the 1st Round. GenG will face the other remaining team in the semifinals. The LCK playoffs will start on March 23rd and will be played in a best-of-five format. 6teams will fight for the championship trophy and the ticket to MSI.
