Minecraft 1.19: The Wild Update Is Coming Soon This Summer

Minecraft is a sandbox game developed by a Swedish video game company called “Mojang Studios” originally created by Marcus Notch Persson. The games mechanics and gameplay consist of building, adventuring, mining, fighting and so many more limitless possibilities due to the games open world map allowing unlimited creativity to happen.
In the Minecraft Live event that was held in 2021 it was announced that the game was going to have a big update called the “Wild Update”. A lot of things were added in the game, so here we will list some big new features that were revealed during the Minecraft Live event.
- New Biomes and World Generation!
With the updates come the release of new biomes to come with the new revamped world generation. It was revealed that the new biomes are going to be: Ancient City, The Deep Dark That are found underground in massive caves while the, Mangrove Swamps can be found on the surface.

2. New Mobs!
With these new biomes, there must be creatures who inhabit it. Here are the new mobs that were revealed:
- Allay
-Voted to be the new mob during the Minecraft Live update
-Can find dropped items for the player
- The Warden
-Spawns in the Deep dark when sculk shriekers activate.
-Emerges from the ground
-Blinds the player and is able to sniff them out
-Can sense vibrations of any mob
-Can deal a lot of damage to the player, so it must be avoided at all cost
- Frog
-comes in 3 colors: Brown, Green and white depending on where they spawn
-Eats slimes and drops slime balls
-jumps on lily pads
- Tadpole
-Grows up into a frog
-can be held in a water bucket
-panics on land and tries to find the nearest water source
- Firefly
-Glows in the dark
-the smallest mob in the game
3. New Blocks!
With the new terrain means new blocks as well! Here are a few listed:

-Mangrove Log
-Mangrove Leaves
-Mangrove Planks
-Mangrove Root
-Mangrove Propagule
-Mud
-Mud Bricks
B. Found in the Deep Dark and Ancient Cities
-Sculk
-Sculk Catalyst
-Sculk Shrieker
-Sculk Vein
This update has made a lot of changes to the game, making it fresh and new again, giving more player things to explore and create with. So far, the update is only in its BETA stage and the full update was said to be released around summer of 2022.
