Every mind believes that everyone has the right to and the ability to achieve optimal mental health and wellbeing. Every single one of us values mental health and living a happy life.
I'd like to encourage everyone to download this application called “Lusog-Isip App” to spend some time thinking about their mental health, reflecting on how they're feeling and what they can do now and in the future to take care of themselves. Take time to do things you enjoy: maintaining a sense of balance in your life is critical, and taking time to do things you enjoy can have a positive impact on how you think and feel. Nurture relationships and connect with people: it is our ability to connect with others that allows us to grow and remain strong.Learn to manage stress: if you have difficulties winding down or managing your thoughts, relaxation, yoga, or journaling may be beneficial. Get involved and join in: being part of a group with common interests provides a sense of belonging so find out about sporting, music, volunteer or community groups locally
After a year of development together with the DOH Mental Health Unit, the mobile app is now available to the public. The app provides access to self-help and self-care resources to address mental health and substance abuse needs by inviting users to assess their well-being and their coping strategies.
