Axie Infinity is a monster-battling where you can put your teams of monsters called axies against each other in battles. The game runs the Ethereum block chain with the help of Ronin, a sidechain that helps minimize fees and transaction delays It’s Primarily focused on turn-on-based battles, either against computer-controlled Axie teams or live opponents over the Internet.

There’s a corresponding amount of SLP given in the battle depending in the MMR of your team. It is played in Adventure and Arena. Adventure is like a completion game where there is a level that is called Ruin. For you to move to the next level you need to win with the monsters in the corresponding level. But in this year players cannot gain SLP in adventure because of the Axie update some features was changed. In Arena, this is the battle field where you can fight against another unknown player in the battle and you can only gain SLP if you are playing with the Energy and it depends on how much SLP you will gain, it depends in your MMR.

By September 2021, Axie infinity had already hit a total NFT transaction volume over $2 billion. And $4 billion by March 2022. Long term players were rewarded with a $60million airdrop of AXS tokens in September 2021, followed a month later by the introduction of a staking for AXS.
